Guide about VISA
Foreign nationals wishing to enter the Republic of Korea to attend the 4th ICFA Beam Dynamics Mini-Workshop on Machine Learning for Particle Accelerators should possess a valid passport and entry visa, if required. The citizens of countries or regions which have a visa-waiver agreement with Korea can enter without a visa for a limited time. K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)
- K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) is an online electronic travel authorization that visa-free foreign visitors need to obtain before entering the Republic of Korea for tourism, visiting relatives, participate in events or meetings, and business purposes other than profitable activities.
- Who need K-ETA?
K-ETA is for nationals of 66 visa waiver countries and nationals of 46 designated visa-free countries. K-ETA is required for foreign nationals who intend to enter the Republic of Korea for tourism, visiting relatives, participate in events or meetings, and business purposes other than profitable activities.

Invitation Letters for Korea Visa Application
If you need an invitation letter for your visa application to attend a workshop, please contact the local committee by email (ml-2024@postech.ac.kr) with the following information.
- Full name on your passport, including title (Mr., Mrs., Prof., Dr., etc)
- Copy of passport
- Personal details
- Date of birth
- Phone number
- Full affiliation name
- Full postal address
